New album coming soon: 'Coyote (King of the Island)'

Merry Christmas everybody! Wishing you a happy and healthy 2026. The coming year will be unequivocally awesome for me. In January I will release the first single of my new album: 'Coyote (King of the Island)'! Another single will follow in February and then another one in March, and finally the album will be released in April of next year. I cannot wait to share my new music with you.

After my great collaboration with Concerto Records for 'Sunset Blues' (2021) and 'In Our Time' (2023), this new album will be released under the legendary Excelsior Recordings label, under the moniker 'Excelsior Supports', which basically means I keep all the reins in hand, which suits me perfectly fine. The new album was recorded live, and with everyone in the same room, with the band hearing the new songs for the first time in the studio, and recording each song in just a handful of takes, without playbacks. This in order to capture the energy of a song in its early stages and to celebrate the beauty of making mistakes, musical risk-taking and of human interactions. Simultaneously, it is a critique of the contemporary music scene dominated by AI, streaming services, and plastic productions. 'Coyote (King of the Island)' is an album full of poetry, modest literary victories and richly textured songwriting.
