Zesgehuchten

Zesgehuchten is a soundtrack to the first time I saw the last breath of living creature, who I loved.
I was only 6 years old, but I still see this image of our cat who was just run over by a car, trying to breathe very vividly.  It all happened in this part of the village, called Zesgehuchten, in a neighbourhood near the countryside on a hot summer day. I tried to turn this very sad image into sound. The performance is a collaboration with violin player Ben Mathot.
