Log cabins and PAF! Studio

Work on my new record is progressing steadily! In February I locked myself into a log cabin to record acoustic and electric guitars, vocals and piano sketches, as well as bass guitar with Danny van Tiggele. It was quite intense as well as confronting to be recording and writing in isolation for seven days straight, but all's well that ends well. Last week I was in PAF! Studio in Rotterdam with producer/engineer Marcel Fakkers, to record more guitars, keys (lots and lots of it), as well as percussion with Jeroen Kleijn (Claw Boys Claw, Daryll-Ann, Alex Roeka, a.o.). I wrote and recorded a song for each of the stories from his short story collection "In Our Time" (1925), and I feel comfortable in saying that it's going to become epic (one way or another), or at least unprecedented!
